Honda hrv 1.6 4×4 clutch problem think it is W reg?
if anyone can help , right the problem i have is that when i start the car i can not put it in gear and the clutch has no spring to it ,it is very easy to press down and has stook to the bottom as well at times, i can put it in gear when it is turned off but soon as a switch the engine on it wont go into gear also the revs are about 1 and a half without even putting my foot on the acelarator. also does hoda fix these types of problems are they guyranteed.
Have you checked the fluid tank on the master cylinder? My hunch is it will be low. Obviously the clutch is not engauging, most likely due to either a blown out master cylinder, or slave cylinder. If it out of fluid, that points to a slave cylinder. If it isn’t, most likely you need a new master cylinder. And yes, if there is at least a powertrain warranty, this should be covered.

Have you tried to put the parking brake when you are still in driving, then neutral and then parking on a single move, turn off and go, when you are back turn on, driving or reverse, and then get the parking brake off.
How do you replace the antenna mast on a 1999 Honda HRV?
I’ve removed the two mounting screws, but the antenna mast doesn’t seem to pull out easily. It is still firmly attached to the antenna lead and doesn’t seem to dislodge.
Thanks Pembina, however it’s not a retractable aerial, it just a standard manual aerial.
The problem is that when I unscrew the mounting screws, the whole set-up only comes out about an inch and the antenna mast doesn’t separate from the lead.
Part of the problem is that I don’t know which parts are meant to detach and which parts are meant to be left behind. I was expecting the mast to just clip out simply!
THE TERM MAST USUALLY APPLIES TO THE ROD LIKE DEVICE THAT SCREWS ONTO THE TOP OF THE ANTENNA MOUNT THAT’S ATTACHED TO THE FENDER OR QUARTER PANEL. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO REMOVE THE ANTENNA MOUNT FROM THE ANTENNA CABLE USUALLY THE CABLE JUST PULLS OUT FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUNT. YOU MIGHT NEED TO USE PLIERS AS THEY ARE SOMETIMES PRETTY TIGHT.
