## How much should I charge someone to use my Music Equipment to create a instrumental beat?

How much should I charge someone to use my music equipment to create a beat?

Someone would like to use my Equipment, (the machine and cakewalk sonar **x1** producer) to create a beat. How much should I charge them? They do not want me to create it they want to creat their own beat.

Well honestly if its your friend and you have known him for quite a while then i suggest you let him go ahead and do it for free. If it is someone that you don’t know you then i suggest you charge him half of what you would charge him if you had made it. Charge him 20 by the hour and if you have HIGH quality tools and software then you should charge him higher. If were you id go half of what id charge if I did.

Don’t be mean to the guy because he could possibly be a partner with you in the future and you guys can link up make a beat send it to an A&R and make a killing selling that beat if you guys have the potential. Nothing is free so i would say nothing unless he is a close friend.Good luck

## How to find graphics cards for my computer?

I have a great computer except for its graphics card. The graphics card is integrated but I have a pci express x16 slot, and two regular pci express **x1** slots and ten also a normal pci slot. So how do I tell which cards will work in my computer? And how do I find them?

## How to find the rate of change using f(x)= x2-1?

I don’t understand how to solve this problem to find the rate of change.

It says: find the rate of change when **x1**= -2 and x2= 6 I tried to solve it and got 6-1=-2 , but I don’t know what to put down for the rate of change. I have several problems like this and I would really appreciate if you could explain to me how to work it out step by step. Thank you for your help!

I think I understand your problem. The rate of change is +4, as explained below, step by step.

First, we write ƒ(x) = x^2 – 1 (x^2 means “x-squared”).

When x = x1 = -2, ƒ(x) = ƒ(-2) = (-2)^2 – 1 = 4 – 1 = 3.

When x = x2 = 6, ƒ(x) = ƒ(6) = 6^2 – 1 = 36 – 1 = 36.

Now we can get the rate of change, which is defined as “the change in y (or ƒ(x)) divided by the change in x.”

The change in y is ƒ(x2) – ƒ(x1) = ƒ(6) – ƒ(-2) = 35 – 3 = 32 (sometimes we call that ?y).

The change in x is x2 – x1 = 6 – (-2) = 8 (sometimes called ?x).

The rate of change is ?y / ?x = 32 / 8 = +4 (Answer)

## How do u solve for slope intercept form with a given slope?

I thought it was mx+b and y-y1=m(x-**x1**) but how do you know which goes first and plug it in

what about point-slope form? What’s the difference?

One single line can be expressed by many equations.

You can always convert from one form to another.

If you don’t know the slope, calculate it first, with

m = (y2 – y1) / (x2 – x1)

If you know the slope and the y-intercept, your easiest option is the slope-intercept form.

Y = mx + b

If you know the slope and any point, your easiest option is the point-slope form.

Y – y1 = m(x – x1)

(a line has an infinite number of points, that’s why you can have many equations for one line)
